ROMO BEATS PRETTY BOYS, TALKS ABOUT HIS TIME IN GOODVIEW

Written by: Rick Mirer, EDITOR

Goodview, MN- After a blow-out victory over his former team, The Goodview Pretty Boys, Tony Romo spoke to reporters about the game and his time in Goodview.

"I want to let you know, let the fans, the real fans of the Pretty Boys know that I'm not here to cause any trouble, I'm here to play for the defending champs," Romo said Sunday. "I said time and time again before I signed my first contract in Goodview, I want to be a Pretty Boy; it's a well-dressed group here. I never said I wanted to leave Goodview, look at me I AM a Pretty Boy. I don't want to be in a negative light. I want everybody to understand -- you can print it, I don't care how you put it to ink -- I am happy to be here with the Felons. I love being here. I just think that, from a business standpoint, Trick Danneker really screwed the pooch by trading me. I'm still going to play some football. I just want to get that off my gorgeous chest.”

Romo said Tuesday that he bears no ill will toward Joe Flacco getting the starting job. "I'm a big fan of Joe Flacco. But he is not prettier than me."

"I don't really know why that piece of shit Danneker traded me," Romo said. "The only thing I am doing is taking it in stride day to day. Hopefully at the end of the season I'll give this organization a reason to keep me…go commit felony murder or something. If not hopefully I'll give some other organization a reason to bring me in. I'm still here playing the level that I do day to day. Just because I said what I did today isn't going to keep me away from my goal, going out and helping the Felons win…and the “Ugly” Boys lose."

Romo did just that in the opening weekend match between the two former championship teams. He scored 15pts , 9 more than Joe Flacco who took his spot in Goodview. Rashard Mendenhall added 19 on the ground, and the Felons defense kept the Pretty Boys and Offensive Coordinator Tim Gunn on the ropes all day.

“We didn’t make it work,” Gunn commented after the game. New running back Shonn Greene scored -1 point as he struggled to grasp the offense, and the Pretty Boys were offed by the Felons 129.5 to 80.5.

Goodview (0-1) will try to get their beauty sleep and travel to The Masonic Lodge to face the Freemasons (1-0). The Felons (1-0) stay at The State Penitentiary in week 2 to take on The Counselor (0-1).
